Purpose

The ownership of an external business (Private Vocational School) by Parkland College is a strategic move to meet a training need in the province - the Crane and Hoist operator and sub-trades apprenticeship skill areas required by large industry and to grow the mandate of the college in the delivery of credit training in a niche market. The Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission and Industry provides the accreditation.
